If you have found yourself looking at my page, the chances are that you have probably thought about getting yourself some help. I'm glad that you are here, and I hope that we can work through this together.
I am an Integrative Counsellor with experience in many aspects of talking therapy. My core approach to counselling is psychodynamic and person centred. This means that together we can explore what is happening with you in the here and now, and that we will also explore your past and childhood too. Being an Integrative Counsellor also gives the opportunity to use tools and techniques from other theoretical approaches. This in turn allows me to create a counselling programme tailor made for you, giving you, I hope, the best and most positive experience during therapy. I am also a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and a member of the National Counselling Service (NCS). Being a member of these professional bodies ensures that I work safely and within an ethical framework.
There is a wide range of issues I am able to help you with. My aim is to provide you with support and encouragement, in a non-judgemental and secure way.
My passion is to rid the stigma attached to mental health and wellness issues. We all have at some point in our lives been affected by our own mental health in some way, and that we could have been helped, by talking to someone. They affect our lives in so many different ways. Sometimes, to know someone is there is all it takes to begin to feel better.
So if you feel that it could benefit you by talking it through, please do not hesitate to contact me.
